May 6, 2014: Valdata Systems now incorporates package execution into its CMS chemical management system. Package execution incorporates the creation of finished goods inventory while consuming bulk product and packaging components.
Many companies struggle with maintaining accurate inventories of components. The primary reason for this is the way components are consumed during packaging and the way that the residual is returned to stock.
Valdata solves the problem two ways: First, it uses its core ‘prompt and police’ methodology to instruct warehouse personnel and line workers on exactly what to do. Second, CMS now incorporates the use of scales for counting. Each item has an average piece weight, which is used to automatically calculate the total quantity being returned back to stock.
