Becton Dickinson & Company implements Valdata’s full suite Chemical Management System (CMS) in U.S. R&D facility
Becton Dickinson and Company (BD) of Franklin Lakes, NJ, employer of 30,000 people in 50 countries, has selected Valdata Systems of Fairfield, NJ to implement Chemical Management Systems in an R&D facility in the U.S.
Founded in 1897, BD provides medical devices and systems for healthcare institutions, scientists, and laboratories worldwide. BD was seeking a partner with extensive experience who could customize R&D formulary entry for individual customers while maintaining traceability consistent with regulatory guidelines, including the U.S. FDA.
With the the Valdata CMS, BD will also have the ability to prompt and verify each step in weighing and manufacturing, including direct sale and PC interface. BD’s new CMS will go live by 2015.
