Host Connectivity
CMS can operate as an execution system only or it can be used to run the entire business. Depending on what modules are being used, there is a need to communicate with a host ERP system. In the case of Quick Books, CMS has an interface that leverages the accounting functions (AR / AP / GL) of Quick Books. This interface uses Quick Books published guidelines for communications.
Where we are operating as just an execution system, the interface to the host system includes messaging far beyond that of just financial data.
